It has just been announced by Fashion Press News that Girls’ Generation will have their own line of perfume on exhibit in collaboration with popular Korean artist Dylan Ryu.
Dylan Ryu’s “PASS the History” exhibition will be on showcase from November 23 to November 25 at “PASS THE BATON OMOTESANDO” which will be held in Harujuku, Tokyo. Of course, the perfume by Girls’ Generation will also be on exhibit during those days. The perfume is a limited item that was specially created for use in the promotions at the exhibition, as it will be used in conjunction with the rest of Dylan Ryu’s “vintage” theme. The exhibition will also be appearing in Seoul and Paris as well.
Also, as if that weren’t enough, Sooyoung and Yoona’s personal bags will also be on display alongside the perfume at Dylan Ryu’s exhibition.
Girls' Generation, 2NE1, Kara and BoA will appear on the Fuji TV’s FNS Music Festival 2011 that will air on December 7 at 7:00 pm. The festival is one of the most renowned year-end music festivals inJapan that features almost all of the top singers every year.
On November 8th, the official website of Fuji TV released the final list of guest singers for the FNS Music Festival 2011. BoA was invited in 2004 and 2005, while SNSD as well first appeared in 2010. As for Kara, this will be the first chance to be involved in the show.
Besides them, the festival includes Arashi, W-inds, AKB48, EXILE, KinKi Kids, SMAP, V6, TOKIO, and SPEED because of the highest levels of popularity they have gained this year.
In this sense, it is very meaningful that Korean singers were invited to the renowned festival. FNS Music Festival 2011 is expected to be designed to cheer up Japanese people who have been suffering from the consequences of the recent huge earthquake.
2NE1 and Kara will also attend the Nihon TV’s Best Hit Music Festival that will air on November 24. The two groups will display a joint performance with AKB48 and EXILE.

On November 7th, SNSD guested on ‘Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time’ radio and revealed their honest thoughts on various topics.
One of the topics discussed dealt with newer idol groups. DJ Choi Hwa Jung asked, “You’ve made a comeback after a long while. Do rookie groups find it hard to approach you?”
Taeyeon responded, “To be honest, a lot of rookie groups find it uncomfortable and difficult to approach us. So they greet us loudly with 90 degree bows.”
The DJ followed up by asking, “How do they react when you receive their greeting in a friendly manner?” Sunny responded, “Honestly, it’s only been 4 years since we’ve debuted. So rather than receiving their greeting, I think it’s only right that we greet them too.”
Choi Hwa Jung then asked, “Are there any hoobae [junior] boy idol groups that you’ve had your eyes on?” After a moment, Hyoyeon revealed, “I think INFINITE is quite good. It’s nice to see them always trying their hardest.”
The other members nodded in agreement and Sunny added, “They came to greet us and give us a copy of their album when we were in the waiting room once. I was so touched.”
On October 28th, SNSD took home their very first K-chart win for “The Boys” on KBS 2TV‘s ‘Music Bank‘.
The girls were up against ballad singer Huh Gak, and they couldn’t hold back their surprise when their names were announced as the winners. SNSD was seen jumping up and down with glee before turning to Huh Gak, entreating him prettily to sing their song together. Startled, Huh Gak declined with some embarrassment, but he did emulate a dance move from “The Boys” after being coached quickly by Hyoyeon.
Although he didn’t win, Huh Gak seemed genuinely happy for the girls as he congratulated them with a warm applause.
